Consistently one of our best varietals, our phenomenal 2013 vintage was honored as  Pennsylvania’s Best Wine, and we think our version from the great 2016 vintage will be even better. Deep base notes of raspberry, capsicum and mocha open up to aromas of crushed herbs and cedar. Rich complexity and subtle tannins have developed from 10 months aging in new premium Mercier French oak barrels.

Serve at cool room temperature with mushroom risotto, lightly marinated meats, game, or hard cheeses.

Another of my husband's favorites. He likes full bodied dry red wines and this really fills the bill.
