Seyval Blanc grapes are a French-American hybrid grape that can be used to make high quality white wines of various styles. Wine intensity tends to be perceived as "thin", consequently either malolactic or barrel fermentation followed by oak ageing is recommended to enhance quality.

Flavor profile somewhere between Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Closely related to Chardonnay with its high acid and positive response to malolactic fermentation and barrel maturation.
