Crusher/Destemmer Motorized Stainless Steel. 1.7 tons/hr. Stem removal is an advantage when making red wine because you avoid the bitter tannin flavors which result when you have a lot of stems in the fermenting must. Most models will remove about 85% of the stems under most conditions.

The cost of assuring that no damage will occur is not compatible with their price range. These units will perform their intended function well enough but if you must have one which is guaranteed to be free of scratches and dents you will be advised to look elsewhere and pay a great deal more.
