Local Lake Erie Chambourcin Fresh Pressed Juice.
Chambourcin is a versatile red variety that is a fabulous blender but also makes a nice varietal. It makes a lighter style red wine, with characteristic strawberry and cherry fruit that’s taut and tart, with a nice long finish. The juice has more limited skin contact so is lighter in color and good for rose. Consider adding grape skin extract to deepen color or try our Chambourcin Young Wine that is fermented on the skins. Chambourcin can be made dry or semi-dry and is also good for sparkling wine.
