Pretty in Pink

The Pretty in Pink wine package consists of a selection of our most popular blush wines.  These delicious easy-drinking wines are versatile, fun, and appeal to just about everyone.  Great for tailgates, gatherings, and parties or just summer sipping.  Great for the Holidays, too!  All bottles included in this package are the standard 750 ml size.  A portion of sales from this package will also be donated to the fight against Breast Cancer through our WINE4GOOD Program.  

6-Bottle Package - Includes 2 bottles of Blushing Heron, 1 bottle of Creekside Blush, 1 bottle of Blusé, 1 bottle of Freeport Rosé, and 1 bottle of Freeport Rosecco.

Blushing Heron. This Concord-Niagara blend is a customer favorite here at Presque Isle Wine Cellars, dubbed "Blushing Heroin" by some local wags for its addictive flavor. Our award-winning sweet, grapey fusion offers a perfect marriage of classic white and red native Vitis labrusca flavors and aromas. We ferment local grapes for a light color and body that suits any wine-drinking occasion.

Creekside Blush. This semi-sweet rosé blend is mostly derived from the Steuben variety. This versatile grape resembles the popular Catawba variety, but without as much acidity and with a tad more spice. A blend of Fredonia and Steuben, this medium-bodied wine has a lovely color and bright, spicy flavor with lots of fruit.  Complements light and mild poultry dishes. A perfect companion to a dressed turkey feast.

Blusé. If you enjoy a good Rosé, you will love our new Blusé. This delicious and refreshing blend adds a touch of blueberry wine to a foundation of clean and aromatic Seyval Blanc white wine for a whimsical, flavorful wine perfect for summer evenings. Crisp and beautifully colored with a hint of blue and softened by a nice sweetness, it is wonderful served well chilled by itself or paired with fresh seafood and poultry dishes. A very versatile wine sure to please a crowd.

Freeport Rosé.  Slightly off-dry, this rosé is light and refreshing, with aromas of strawberry jam and red cherry. This thoroughly enjoyable rosé is made from Chambourcin and won 98 Points, Double Gold, and Best in Show at the East Meets West International Wine Competition in Santa Rosa, CA.  An extremely versatile wine with food, it can be paired with almost everything, but it really shines with fresh, light picnic foods, and traditional holiday foods.

Freeport Rosecco.  A bubbly Pink Tornado of flavor and fun.  Fresh and fruity with just the right touch of light sweetness to tingle your palate.  This effervescent beauty is made from the Steuben grape which expresses characteristic peachy and melon fruit with a touch of cotton candy.
