Holiday Mulled Wine Recipe

Enjoy PIWC's Recipe for Holiday Mulled Wine, featuring our Sassy Heron Spiced Wine, no longer carried by Presque Isle Wine Cellars. Easy to make, re-heatable, and a perfect holiday treat, this Holiday Mulled Wine is sure to warm you up on a wintry night. Feature this recipe at your next holiday party for a unique treat your guests will be sure to love, or use it to warm up in front of the fireplace this holiday season.

Ingredients:

1 bottle of Presque Isle Wine Cellars Sassy Heron Spiced Wine*

¼ cup brown sugar

¼ cup orange juice

3 orange slices cut in half

½ cinnamon stick (optional)                                                    

Add all the ingredients in a crockpot and stir. Set the crockpot on medium for ½ hour then on warm and stir again. Serve in mugs! For a nice touch add a quarter slice of orange to each mug. Can be cooled and reheated the next day. Enjoy!
