Fresh herbs and orange peels float amongst the fruity characteristics of our Blaufränkisch, an Austrian variety that grows well in our region. Aged 30 months in American oak barrels giving a medium, spicy oak finish that ends in an airy coconut appeal. This light to medium-bodied, dry red rounds out a nice, hearty stew or pasta with a tomato or vinegar-based sauce. This beautifully colored wine also makes a very nice base for sangria.
