Notes: This as an FDA approved polypropylene cartridge called Polyfine made by Pall to replace the Duofine (which has been discontinued) in applications requiring FDA food contact approved products. We also recommend the new PIWC Polypropylene 0.45 micron Filter Cartridge (PP10-.45 or PP20-.45), which is also a polypropylene cartridge, as a comparable alternative to this Polyfine filter cartridge, and is made with FDA compliant materials. None of these filters are recommended for final filtration prior to bottling.
